A very good / beautiful application for YouTube and YouTube music all in one, a lot of stuff to work / rework but apart from that seriously on top the developer is active and responsive with a little time I am convinced that it will be the best app for this kind of use. I dont think that need open issue for that btw when u play a video, only dislike show and u can safely remove the useless "report" button :) |

i didn't put the likes in container to keep slim, so i added them in the description. i will add them to the container. |

@BrandQc i added the feature inside the content display settings screen and it will be available in the next release or you can test it out by downloading the version from the actions tab |

Ok alright irs work but you have added a option for hide this "shorts" But no this short And please dont use chatgpt or gtranslate for french translation... Its very very weird right now Pleaaaase optimize the apps! Loading is very very slow (yeah i am using your app every day but performance trigger me) |

@BrandQc thanks for reporting back, the shorts in the second image still show because i filter content below 1:20 minutes, but if i go higher a lot of videos from music artists won't show up as they have this range of duration. I will see if there is a specific tag i can filter out. For the french translation i wasn't the one who did it, someone contributed to it and i don't know a lot of french to see if some words are not the proper ones to use. If you can point out the specific words that are " weird " it would be a big help, i will then update them. And lastly for the performance, can you tell me what feels slow other than the music part and the shorts ? (I will remake the shorts from scratch soon) Also i apologize if you're having a bad experience due to performance, i am doing the best i could to make the app faster :) |

Could there be a way to import watch history to make it so I don't have to train the algorithm by watching the stuff I like? Google take out has watch-history.html? |

Perhaps something cool would be being able to import playlists for music/videos? Or even syncing with Spotify? |

Importing playlists for music and videos are planned, i will work on them soon, as i was also planning a community playlist support where users can share there playlists using a export/import workflow, and other users can fetch/download the exported json of the playlist and import it on their device. Also for the Spotify sync do you mean logging in your account to get data ? If so this contradicts the app's no login philosophy for privacy. But i will add a import from Spotify if possible, so that users can import their playlists and use them. Thanks for the suggestion! |

You can take inspiration form Namida to improve the UI of the Youtube Part form Namida and it was very good ui and features as a yt client |

Also for Music Part you can make use of Floating Navbar just like google uses in Gmail for Chats.It can be very helpful and can include many functions and features

There is a add to queue button, it can be accessed when you click on the video card's 3-dot menu |

I don't think there is a need to open a Issue for this, but I get titles translated to english for videos that are NOT from english Youtubers

hello, in the app i don't force a specific language to fetch the title with, it is from the newpipe extractor that gets the data, someone on reddit asked me about it and he compared between my app and newpipe and both had the same result even though the region he set in the app settings is non english. so the titleis fetched like that from the extractor not my app. |

General Question: Does this app drain the battery faster than other apps (e.g., NewPipe, LibreTube)? If yes then, approx how much? |

Please provide a sync feature to YouTube, so that you don't have to worry about backing up your data on YouTube first. |

Hello, i'm sorry but a sync feature would require a google auth (login) support which is out of scope for this app. There is no secure and tracker free way to add google login which stands against the main reason the app was built in the first place. |

the apks are now ABI split for smaller sizes, the artifacts were the compressed versions containing both builds. i updated it to upload the uncompressed versions instead of the previous builds |

Is there a release coming soon to fix the playback issues, especially when returning from background playback? I've been using the nightly release but it's less than ideal versus the official one I'm keeping up to date with Obtainium. Also would love to see my issue #823 implemented to desloppify shorts 😄 Anyways love this app and use it every day. It's just short of perfection for me right now, so I can attest to your great work ❤️ |

The day after you fix bringing automatic translation from YouTube into your app will be better for me than my wedding day. I log in here every day hoping for that. Everyone I follow speaks English and I rely on translation mainly for understanding, so I use Revanced. |

The auto translated subtitles or the audio tracks ? Some of the auto generated subtitles are not working and giving the sign in to confirm you're not a bot error ( bot walled by YouTube servers) i am trying to find a solution for them |

Just installed latest nightly build [https://github.com/A-EDev/Flow/commit/1f88972dc3f5fbad833b976a7aaca017823ab80f] @A-EDev , and Flow is crashing too hard in my low end phone to the point that cant copy the logs as the app closes itself. Gonna back to stable release |

@A-EDev I maanage to click the "copy logs"! Luckily it took me several mulinutes as it's automatically close/exit the app Here: ============================================================

Thanks, from the looks of it, this crash seems to be related to the theme, do you have a custom theme applied? (Maybe related to the previous custom theme not working issue) Your saved data and the json file are intact so once the crash is fixed everything will function normally. |

These are not tied to a theme, these are dynamic colors extracted from the video thumbnail (kindof like what youtube does in its description etc..) |
