Problem
Device disconnects and then fails to auto-reconnect. User loses hours of capture until manually fixing it.
What happened
- Device disconnected on its own
- Did not reconnect automatically (timeout)
- User lost ~2 hours of the day
- Required manual recovery:
- Reconnect + re-pair device
- Power cycle (turn device off/on)
Evidence / Pattern
In Device Diagnostics, users constantly see timeout disconnects throughout the day. This incident appears to be the same timeout-type disconnect, but in this case it got stuck and never recovered.
Expected
After an unexpected disconnect, app should automatically reconnect (and not require re-pairing/power cycle).
Actual
Stuck disconnected until user manually repairs/reboots.
