In the new dashboard interface we're building for the CAFE metadata, Claude Code is catching instances where datasets could not be integrated into particular views or descriptive analyses based on incomplete or insufficient metadata in certain fields.
It would be great if whenever that happens, we could identify those datasets and their metadata issues using the depositor assistant framework to create a suggestion for the author to update their entry if possible. The process could generate template emails for us to review and then send to each author, or even send them for us if the batch size of these requests is too large for individual review (e.g., using google sheets + google studio "flows", per suggestion from @cmbz)
This would also create a nice opening for us to show off the data browser/dashboard interface: "Hey, we have this new tool for visualizing the collection containing your dataset, but we weren't able to include your data in every visualization because your metadata is underspecified in these fields (e.g., keyword usage). Do you want to update your metadata? Click here!"
