This is in the statistics system. The statistical functions were recently refactored into generic, batch and streaming. Generic holds, well, the generics so you can apply say mean to a vector, array, data-frame or stream. The implementations are split into statistics/streaming and statistics/batch. Batch functions are all in-memory and what people typically think of as statistics. The streaming are the most complete, as the functions there are high-quality implementations of streaming. Batch is green-field now and the aim is to use the latest and most efficient implementations available, possibly with a LLA dependence, but that's not yet decided.
