Probably one of my biggest regrets in this course so far is not spending more time on fundamental image analytics algorithms. Thankfully the gallery of examples illustrated on scikit-image webpage is so clear and beautifully done - with a bit of an open mind and a desire to experiment - I believe you can dive deep and have a lot of fun learning and attempting some of the nifty things you can do with to an image using such a library.
