Error with openmdao register_report

Hello guys,

Another newbie to Aviary here, I wonder if some one can help me with the following error I recently upgrade to version 0.9.9 and now when I'm trying to run the examples here I keep getting the following error at all levels any help is appreciated :

I wasn't able to replicate this one on my local machine unfortunately - one suggestion I have is to try the openmado clean command, although that might not be relevant to this error

I wonder if this is related to our project rename from om-aviary to aviary. You might need to go into your site-packages and delete any om-aviary or aviary files/links that you see there, and then reinstall aviary. Alternatively, you could try with a new clean conda env.

Oh that's a really good point - Aviary might be double-installed, so it will try and register the same reports twice w/ OpenMDAO. I checked and both are present in my environment but I didn't pull from pypi.

@DavinciiG, new suggestion: run pip list, and check if you have both a om-aviary and an aviary installed. If so, pip uninstall om-aviary and see if that fixed your issue. Maybe uninstalling both then re-installing just aviary is needed if that doesn't work

No worries! Glad you were able to get it working. The good news is that this issue should never happen again when updating versions, just an unexpected quirk of the package name change
