Don't use the counter example for showing TanStack Start's server functions, here why TanStack/router#4321.
And if you do want to use it, exlude the count.txt form tailwind. I spent the entire day figuring this out.

I think it should be sufficient to add it to the .gitignore. That file should be listed in there anyway. And Tailwind looks at the gitignore to see what files to exclude from the scan.

I am curious though, what were the side-effects of count.txt updating and getting picked up by the Tailwind scan? It's literally just a file with a number. That's not a valid Tailwind class.

The .gitignore fix works.

I think @tailwindcss/vite plugin ended up treating count.txt as a config file, so whenever the count file get change it reloads the page, vite also reloads when config files changes but it's does treat our count file as config, but @tailwindcss/vite plugin does, so when using this plugin we have that problem.

So I create a issuse for this at tailwind repo

by looking at the plugin source I found that, vite ignores our count.txt file by default, but the tailwind plugin adds it to vite's watch list, and when it changes vite thinks it's a config file and reloads the page.
