Add padding in inputs instead of borders

I'm trying to build a whole UI inspired by a suggestion in Noice Wiki about building clean cmdline popup

The closest I've got to it is this ugly version in the image bellow, but I'm struggling on how to add padding in inputs.
If you see closely at the image, it's possible to see that the input is glued to top when I remove the border 🫠

I have tried a few configurations, including the add_padding function but none of these worked for me

Oh, I see! In a few words, there is not padding option and the trick is to add borders and hide it setting the same color as the bg
