In some cases, squares appear on the nodes of polylines.
I don't remember the situation in which I first saw this effect, but I thought it was related to an issue with the imported SHP file.
I have encountered it again now Split to Single Parts on lines that I had welded and merged using Merge to Multipart (they were polylines extracted from GIS polygons)
These squares seem to appear on welded joints or snapped intersections from GIS. I believe this can also happen to lines snapped in PZero.
Luckily, this seems to be just a visual effect that disappears after using tools on the polyline (e.g. Edit Line, even if you don't touch those nodes).
Maybe it's enough to refresh the geometries somehow.
