Is there some standard or are you rather looking for a hook you can use for your own project? With that given you have set up a Unified Push provider (e.g. ntfy.sh) you can subscribe to changes in a calendar and also be notified in real time. Otherwise I like the idea of having an easy-to-use channel to subscribe to changes, but I'll probably not put a lot of effort into that until start of December 😅 |

I don't think there's a standard? I'm not entirely sure, though. I know that Radicale has webhooks as a feature, and I was planning on using that for updating my note app (Trilium) until I swapped to Rustical. It looks like I can use another app as a middleman to subscribe to the WebDAV Push implementation in Rustical, and create calls to the note app's API from there. Thanks for pointing out that you do already have pushing endpoints! Webhooks might be easier to use, especially if there were a way in Rustical to format the output of the webhook, but this is good enough for me. |
Uh oh!

I was curious if there are plans for webhook support in the future? Being able to push calendar changes to my note-keeping software via webhooks is a feature I would definitely use (to keep my journals/to do lists in one place, and to allow me to add notes to events).
