I think i finally found a desktop linux calendar application (not an integrated mail app) that actually works
The name - dank calendar
It effortlessly connected just by specifying the base domain path, actually discovered and conencted both my normal calendar and contacts birthday calendar. It displayed all my events (Including the contacts birthdays which did not work on merkuro or mu calendar) and it seems to have no issue creating new events.
It also supposedly works for events (which i do not need as i use planify for events (and it also works perfectly) but i just disabled them in the app (WHICH YOU CAN DO YEEAAAH)
The only negative is that it has additional navigation icons that you cannot hide (close and maximize / minimize) and that it has some strange localization mismatch sometimes, but this will probably be addressed
As you can see it has both russian and english text and it has this bar on top which i suppose comes from it not being designed for kde plasma but for something like hyprland ? (I am unsure wether it is pulling that i have russian somewhere from my system time / locales, but i have yet to find a fix)
Edit: i removed the default system titlebar using Window management -> window rules, so now it looks good
