Hi there

There is a 7 month old security warning regarding the used DOMPurify version:

I was hoping for a patch release regarding this.

I would also be glad to open a PR - but please let me know if you are still actively maintaining this repository as there are 564 open issues and 67 open Pull requests.

Also the scheduled action "detect runtime error" seems to be failing over a year now and needs to be updated.

If you are not planning in maintaining this repo any longer it would be fair to set it to "archived to let the people know.

I just want to leave a note of appreciation here.

This project is, honestly, a rare piece of software craftsmanship. Not just “useful”, but beautiful in the deeper sense: thoughtful design, clarity of ideas, and fantastic feature reach WYSIWYG mode that many tools including commercial ones still haven’t managed to achieve after all these years! Tables with merged cells, lists inside cells, graphs and much more! All these features incredibly hard to get right, and this project nailed it in a way that remains largely unmatched.

I truly hope this project isn’t abandoned and will find new energy or a second life. It would be a real loss for the world if such a refined and elegant piece of work quietly faded away.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to it! This kind of software deserves to live on.

If you want to use a version that does not bundle an outdated dompurify, check out https://github.com/Drenso/tui.editor. In this fork I've upgraded dompurify and marked it as external in the webpack build.
