I'd like to suggest making 1–2 complimentary Codex usage resets per month a permanent benefit for ChatGPT Plus subscribers.

Currently, these resets are occasionally offered through promotional events. While these rewards are appreciated, a predictable monthly allowance would provide greater value and improve the overall subscription experience.

Suggested Benefits

• 1–2 free full Codex usage resets every month for ChatGPT Plus subscribers.
• Each reset should restore both the 5-hour and weekly usage limits.
• Automatically distribute resets each month without requiring participation in promotional events.
• Allow unused resets to roll over to subsequent months.
• Permit users to accumulate up to 4 unused resets, preventing excessive accumulation while preserving flexibility.

Why This Matters

Codex is an increasingly valuable tool for developers, independent creators, and users building software with AI assistance.

However, usage limits can interrupt development workflows, especially during complex or long-running projects.

A predictable monthly reset allowance would:

1. Make the ChatGPT Plus subscription more attractive and valuable.
2. Reduce unexpected interruptions during development.
3. Improve subscriber satisfaction and long-term retention.
4. Encourage more users to explore and adopt Codex.
5. Provide meaningful benefits without requiring users to purchase additional usage credits.

Personal Experience

As a ChatGPT Plus subscriber, I've received complimentary Codex usage resets through previous promotional events.

If necessary, OpenAI could start with one guaranteed monthly reset and evaluate the possibility of providing two in the future.
