Teacher Verification

Hi GitHub Education Team,

My teacher verification (that was valid last year) was recently rejected, and I’m not sure what additional steps I need to take to correct it. I’ve reviewed the rejection reasons stated below but all information is correct while still being rejected:

- Please ensure that your academic affiliation document contains your last name exactly as it appears in your [GitHub billing information](https://github.com/settings/billing/payment_information). If you have only a single legal name, enter it in both the first and last name fields of your GitHub billing information.

- Please ensure that your academic affiliation document contains your first name exactly as it appears in your [GitHub billing information](https://github.com/settings/billing/payment_information). Variations of your name and nicknames are unacceptable.

- You are unlikely to be verified until you have completed your [GitHub user profile](https://docs.github.com/en/account-and-profile/setting-up-and-managing-your-github-profile/customizing-your-profile/personalizing-your-profile) with your full name exactly as it appears in your academic affiliation document. Please do not use a variation of your name or a nickname. Once you have updated your profile information log out and log back into GitHub before re-applying.

I have submitted my College employment letter and all names in Github and letter are identical.

Could someone please advise what specifically needs to be corrected, or whether there is an issue related to school information, domains, or location verification?
I appreciate any help in resolving this so I can complete the verification process.

Billing Info: Double-check your GitHub Payment Information. The name there must be a 1:1 match with your document, including any middle names or special characters.

Profile Name: Ensure your Public Profile Name in [your settings] is updated to match your legal name exactly.

Session Refresh: This is crucial—after updating your info, log out and log back in before re-uploading the document to force a metadata refresh.

Document Clarity: Ensure the document is clearly legible and your affiliation is current.
