I have purchased copilot and it seems it is a bit costlier to me seeing the token amount I get. I am thinking of buying claude directly and put that api key in VS code github copillot but I am worried that I will still be stuck in token and next year I will have to pay both claude and copilot.

If anyone can clarify this.

Why don't you use Cloud Code directly on VS code?

yes similar interface but vs code claude code doesnt allow to connect to ollama while github copilot does. this question will also answer the terms of using ollama with copilot freeplan
