Hi,
Thanks for maintaining this great project!
I'm experiencing bad sound quality issue in this configuration:
- Server side-
OS: ubuntu 24.04
Machine: nano pi t6 - rk3588 SOC
Arch: arm64
Sound system: Alsa and pulse
Roc-recv: v0.4.0
fec: disabled
- Client side-
OS: ubuntu 24.04
Roc-send: v0.4.0
Integration with pipewire
Machine: intel x86
I tried to swap the machines and it passes: roc-send on arm64 and roc-recv on x86. So i guess it comes for the receiver. It also happens with sender and receiver on the same host.
The sound is not choppy. It s feels like it has high frequency continuous radio-like noise added to the normal sound.
This is very stable, and and latency / frame size settings don't make any difference.
