How does AFFiNE handle conflicting offline edits? #15475
|
If the same page is edited offline on two devices, what happens when both reconnect? Does AFFiNE merge the changes automatically, or could one version overwrite the other? Is there a way to recover content if a conflict occurs? |

AFFiNE uses a CRDT data structure, so when both devices reconnect, their offline changes are merged automatically rather than one version overwriting the other. Content should not be lost, and if needed, you can restore an earlier version through the page’s version history.
