The note tick option is quite poor compared to other editors, so here are some additions that could improve it.
Make the note tick volume increase based on the number of notes hit at the same time (as it works in Quaver and osu!). This option could be optional and would improve the listening experience for many users.
Along with the addition of “Select by density,” an option could be added so that the note tick only works at certain densities. This would help, for example, in charts where we represent specific elements of the song using a particular density (e.g., vocals with jumps).
