Welcome to the Night Coffee Theme for Visual Studio Code! This theme is designed to provide a soothing and visually appealing coding experience, inspired by the calm and cozy ambiance of a night-time coffee shop.
- Open the Extensions view in Visual Studio Code by clicking on the Extensions icon in the Activity Bar on the side of the window or by pressing
Ctrl+Shift+X. - Search for "Night Coffee Theme".
- Click the "Install" button.
- Once installed, click the "Set Color Theme" button or go to the Command Palette (
Ctrl+Shift+P) and selectPreferences: Color Theme, then choose "Night Coffee Theme".
- Dark Mode: A dark color scheme that is easy on the eyes, perfect for late-night coding sessions.
- Warm Colors: A palette of warm colors that create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
- Syntax Highlighting: Enhanced syntax highlighting for various programming languages to improve code readability.
you will need to have node.js version 22, because it seems that the latest version of
vscerequires it. If you have an older version of node.js, you can usenvmto manage multiple versions of node.js on your machine.
If you want to build the extension locally as a .vsix file:
- Install Node.js if it is not already installed.
- From the project root, install the dependencies with
npm install. - Run
npm run build:vsix. - The generated
.vsixfile will be created in the project root.
You can then install the package in VS Code with the Extensions view or the command palette by choosing Install from VSIX....
