Code Review
This pull request updates several indirect Go dependencies in the scripts example and bumps the Go toolchain version to 1.25.0. Feedback was provided to revert the Go version bump to 1.24.0 to prevent build failures, as Go 1.25 is not yet released or supported by the project's CI/toolchain.

The Go version in go.mod has been bumped to 1.25.0. Since Go 1.25 is not yet released or may not be supported by the project's current CI/toolchain, this change will cause build failures for developers and CI environments running Go 1.24 or earlier. It is recommended to revert this to 1.24.0 to maintain compatibility.

Invoking incorrect handling of namespaced elements in foreign content in golang.org/x/net/html
CVE-2026-42506 / GO-2026-5025

Details
Parsing arbitrary HTML which is then rendered using Render can result in an unexpected HTML tree. This can be leveraged to execute XSS attacks in applications that attempt to sanitize input HTML before rendering.

Invoking failure to reject ASCII-only Punycode-encoded labels in golang.org/x/net/idna
CVE-2026-39821 / GO-2026-5026
More information
Details
The ToASCII and ToUnicode functions incorrectly accept Punycode-encoded labels that decode to an ASCII-only label. For example, ToUnicode("xn--example-.com") incorrectly returns the name "example.com" rather than an error.
This behavior can lead to privilege escalation in programs using the idna package. For example, a program which performs privilege checks on the ASCII hostname may reject "example.com" but permit "xn--example-.com". If that program subsequently converts the ASCII hostname to Unicode, it will inadvertently permits access to the Unicode name "example.com".
