Complex Number Support

At the moment, there is no support for complex number, but files created with the python package netCDF4 do allow for them, via the nc-complex library. Would it be possible to add Complex number support here?

Support for native complex numbers has been added to HDF5 here:
HDFGroup/hdf5#4630

It seems that there are plans to add them to NetCDF:
Unidata/netcdf-c#3217

If we would implement the approach of nc-complex and then the native type is implemented, we would be required to maintain two types of complex numbers for a long time (otherwise files created with the nc-complex approach would become unreadable).
