#applyToContainer: is the method where other ArtifactDiff subclasses deviate from the standard apply-diff-to-object-at-path procedure. Don't ask file store for its directory, but let the store provide its directory. The smell that ImageStore has to store files externally persists. At least it becomes more obvious with this change.
