[BUG] Home screen layout gets deleted

Describe the bug

Homescreen layout gets deleted occasionally, including the widgets.

Steps to reproduce

Nothing in particular, sometimes a systemui restart triggers it, but it tends to happen on random.

Expected behavior

Layout stays the same.

Why are you staying on an old beta build, op out our move to QPR2, maybe that's the reason why this happens :)

Weird issue, can't reproduce it here. Is it android 16 QPR2 beta?

Not sure if that's the same case but while using the latest debug build I can confirm having a similar issue using Android 16 qpr2 beta2 (pixel 8 pro). If you're using the "Hide at a glance" option and try to add a widget in that place instead it'll eventually disappear, especially after updating play store apps. It's like the launcher/systemUI restart/update for a second and then the widget is gone.
