Getting Started

1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/MikeTX56/streamlit-web-app.git
cd streamlit-web-app

2. Navigate into an app

cd ai-product-app

3. Create a virtual environment

python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate        # Windows: venv\Scripts\activate

4. Install dependencies

pip install -r requirements.txt

5. Set up environment variables

Copy the example file and fill in your keys:

cp .env.example .env
GEMINI_API_KEY=your_key_here

Never commit .env to GitHub. It is listed in .gitignore.

6. Run the app

streamlit run app/main.py

The app opens at http://localhost:8501.
