Description

The ban management section allows for creation and modifications of the auto-bans that Absol can apply in a given channel. Any user with access through the permissions below can view, create, edit, or expire these bans.

Each ban consists of the following sections:

• Ban Mask

  The mask this ban applies to

• Kick Message

  The message the user will see when kicked due to this ban

• Notes

  Any internal notes about a ban, the reason of the ban or evidence should be placed here

• Days to ban

  How many days this ban should be active for. (Note: 0 does not correctly work, 365 will apply a one year ban)

• Channels

  What channels to apply this ban on. You may enter a comma-separated list of channels to apply this to those channels, or the word "all" to apply this ban on all channels. (Note, all users with bans.new may add bans through this method)

• Expire date

  When the ban will expired

• Created by

  Which panel user created this ban

Once a ban is added and is active, then any user who joins that channel with the matching mask will be banned from the channel and kicked with the provided message.
