And for additional clarification, this commit originally came from our other project, ReX Engine, and was cherry picked back to Redot. Hence the lighter than normal scrutiny, since it was already pretty thoroughly tested bench marked internally. Good catch on that though @Stand43 ! I totally should have caught that typo in the description. |

A few nice benchmarks here. i compiled my stuff with just
sconsand compared it to godot-4.4-stable. So, I'm sure it's probably even better if compiled right. For "Time", this patch got:1000 Area 3d: 0.087 vs Godot's 0.13
Softbody 3d 500 Rigidbodies: Well, 0.97 vs Godot's 0.222
A few other "significant" ones, I only checked physics/rendering. It's a simple one so it shouldn't really create any issues for anything unless you just hate speed.
