This issue is related to #50 (core coverage 60%).
Recommended approach: Work on both issues together as a single coverage improvement effort:
- Focus on
.aios-core/core/first (fix(coverage): Increase .aios-core/core/ test coverage to meet 60% threshold #50) - Then expand to global coverage (this issue)
The
.aios-core/core/coverage improvement will directly contribute to global coverage targets.- Focus on
Progress Update
Current Coverage (commit 9e23f63):
Metric Current Threshold Status Statements 28.17% 30% ❌ -1.83% Branches 25.17% 25% ✅ Met Functions 30.57% 30% ✅ Met Lines 28.44% 30% ❌ -1.56% Done:
- ✅ Branches coverage meets threshold
- ✅ Functions coverage meets threshold
- ✅ Removed broken integration test (tools-system.test.js)
Remaining:
- Statements needs +1.83% (~770 lines)
- Lines needs +1.56% (~630 lines)
Will continue improving coverage in future sessions.

A issue #50 (
.aios-core/core/coverage) foi fechada e seus requisitos foram consolidados nesta issue.Requisitos adicionais (de #50):
-
.aios-core/core/line coverage ≥ 60% (atualmente ~47%)
Priorização sugerida:
- Primeiro: Focar em
.aios-core/core/(módulos críticos) - Depois: Expandir para ADE e Infrastructure

Validation run:
npm run test:coverage -- --runInBand --forceExitResult:
- Test Suites: 11 skipped, 328 passed, 328 of 339 total
- Tests: 149 skipped, 8314 passed, 8463 total
Coverage summary from
coverage/coverage-final.jsonvia Istanbul:- Global statements: 37.66% (target >= 30%)
- Global branches: 34.68% (target >= 25%)
- Global lines: 37.82% (target >= 30%)
- Global functions: 40.48% (target >= 30%)
.aiox-core/core/lines: 81.13% (target >= 45%; also exceeds the consolidated fix(coverage): Increase .aios-core/core/ test coverage to meet 60% threshold #50 >= 60% target)
I also restored the local generated entity registry mutation from the coverage run, so no runtime/generated state drift is being carried forward.
Closing as completed.

Problem
After merging PR #51 (AIOS Dashboard & ADE Core Implementation), global test coverage dropped below thresholds due to +108k lines of new code.
Current Coverage vs Thresholds
Scope
New modules needing tests:
ADE Core (~15k lines)
.aios-core/core/execution/- Build orchestrator, wave executor, rate limiter.aios-core/core/orchestration/- Master orchestrator, gate evaluator, recovery handler.aios-core/core/memory/- Gotchas memory, context snapshot.aios-core/core/ideation/- Ideation engineInfrastructure (~10k lines)
.aios-core/infrastructure/scripts/- Plan tracker, worktree manager, QA orchestratorWorkflow Intelligence (~5k lines)
.aios-core/workflow-intelligence/learning/- Gotcha registry, QA feedback, semantic searchAcceptance Criteria
Priority
Medium - Tests passing, coverage is a quality metric not a blocker.
