A website that will fetch random Discord CDN links from our database, and play it inside a website.

Before starting 🏁, you need to have Git, Node, and PNPM installed.
# Clone this project
$ git clone https://github.com/TubeCord/discord-video-player.git tubecord
# Access
$ cd tubecord
# Install dependencies
$ pnpm install
# Run the project
$ pnpm start

Please note that we are not responsible for the links submitted by the users or the content displayed in the video player. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that the submitted links do not contain illegal or inappropriate material, and that they comply with Discord's Terms of Service, as the videos are hosted on Discord's CDN.
We provide a platform for users to share and view video links, but we do not have control over the content of those links. Users should exercise caution and report any links that contain illegal material or grossly violate Discord's ToS.
Additionally, we cannot guarantee the availability or functionality of the links submitted. Broken or outdated links may occasionally be present, and users should report any broken links they encounter.
- This app streams Discord CDN attachments through an internal proxy endpoint (
/stream) to work around recent restrictions on hotlinking and cross-site playback. - No Discord account tokens are required or used.
- Only
cdn.discordapp.comandmedia.discordapp.netURLs are allowed.
- Random video selection reads from
../database/discord_cdn_links.txtrelative to the project root. - If the local file cannot be read, the app falls back to the GitHub list.
- The proxy forwards
Rangerequests so browser seeking remains functional.
- When a video cannot be played due to CDN or network issues, a clear message is shown and you can skip to the next video.
Limitation of Liability: By using our website and accessing the links shared by other users, you acknowledge and agree that you assume all risks and responsibilities associated with the content and usage of those links.
If you come across any links that contain illegal material or grossly violate Discord's ToS, please report them to us through GitHub Issues or directly to Discord. We will take appropriate action to address the issue.
