The official community hub for RoboVibe. Join the discussion, request features, report bugs, and share your path-planning strategies for mobile robots!
This is the official public space for our community! Whether you are a competitive robotics team, an educator, or a hobbyist, we want to hear from you. Use this repository to ask questions, share your run strategies, request new features, and report bugs.
RoboVibe is an interactive, visual path-planning and strategy platform for mobile robots. It is designed to bridge the gap between visual strategy and physical robot behavior, helping you catch geometry and physics errors in simulation before you ever run the robot on the table.
Key Features Include:
- Interactive Path Planning: A 1:1 scale interactive map canvas with smart waypoint editing, bezier curves, and collision detection.
- Physics & Analytics: Real-time feedback on wheel slip, centrifugal forces, and efficiency metrics.
- 3D & AR Visualization: Instantly preview your mission in a 3D simulated environment, or use the AR Verifier to project your digital waypoints onto the real-world playing field.
- Code Generation & Device Connectivity: Native Pybricks integration that allows you to generate and export Python code directly to your hardware. Connect to your hub over USB or Bluetooth (BLE) and supports both Pybricks firmware and standard LEGO HubOS firmware. Compatible with LEGO SPIKE, Robot Inventor, Technic Hubs, and EV3 (via Pybricks).
- Step-by-Step Debugging: Run missions with real-time step-by-step debugging and tracking on your connected device, so you can trace and verify each waypoint as your robot executes.
- Strategy & Scoring: Integrated score managers, mission badges, and score density heatmaps to pinpoint the most lucrative target areas.
We use GitHub's built-in tools to manage community feedback. Here is how you can get involved:
This is our community forum. Head over to the Discussions tab to:
- Q&A: Ask "How do I do X?" or get help troubleshooting a specific path.
- Ideas: Pitch new features, tools, or physics mechanics you'd love to see.
- Show and Tell: Share screenshots, Pybricks scripts, or videos of your robot successfully executing a RoboVibe-planned mission!
Did you find a bug? Head over to the Issues tab to report it.
- Please provide as much context as possible (e.g., your browser, the map you were using, and steps to reproduce the glitch).
- If you're unsure if something is a bug or a feature request, start a Discussion first!
- RoboVibe App — The main mission planning platform. Design precise paths for your differential drive robot on a 1:1 scale interactive map with waypoints, bezier curves, and collision detection.
- AI & Machine Learning — Explore built-in AI & ML models for recognizing voices, gestures, or objects — or train your own custom model.
- Scoring View — Visualize missions and track your competition score in real-time. Pick a challenge map and monitor match progress.
- Match Timer — A full-screen competition countdown timer for running official match rounds.
- Rules Quiz — Test your knowledge of competition rules. Questions are generated from scoring lines in FLL, WRO, and other challenge configurations.
By participating in this community, you agree to treat fellow roboticists, educators, and maintainers with respect. Happy mapping!
