Launcher shortcut broken after pinned to taskbar on Zorin OS 18.1 (Regression in 0.9.2)

Describe the bug

After upgrading Bazaar to version 0.9.2, the application fails to launch when clicked from a pinned taskbar/dock shortcut on Zorin OS 18.1. However, opening Bazaar directly from the Zorin OS Software works completely fine.

When you downgrade bazaar over warehouse to the previous version, do you still get this? Just to rule that out.

In Bazaar version 0.9.1, everything is working normally.

Could you run journalctl -f and then click on the shortcut in the app launcher. Maybe something related to that will show up.

I ran journalctl -f again and successfully caught the error this time. When I click the shortcut, it fails to acquire the bus name. Here are the relevant lines: text

Do you have any local overrides to the desktop file by any chance? So something in ~/.local/share/applications made with the pins app and things like that. If flatpak run and the software store can launch it then this might be a possibility.

I don't think I have any local overrides, but I can check. What command should I run to list the files in that directory and verify if there is a conflict?

I checked the directory using ls -la ~/.local/share/applications | grep -i bazaar and it returned nothing. The folder is completely clean, so there are no local overrides.

Could you try this and see if it works:

No, it didn't work. Running gtk-launch io.github.kolunmi.Bazaar triggers the exact same failure as clicking the shortcut. Here is the output: text

I have a similar issue but bazaar will only launch through terminal command using linux mint 22.3

Same problem here. Can only launch Bazaar using Zorin OS Software store.

With the latest update, Bazaar does not start even from Software.

Trying to start it from the terminal only bring this error message:

$ flatpak run io.github.kolunmi.Bazaarmi.Bazaar

The only line shown in journalctl when I try to start Bazaar is:
