Welcome to the LANSI Kanata configuration! This layout...
- is broadly compatible: ANSI, 60%, 75%, 6-column ortholinear? As long as you have a number row, it will work great.
- is easy to learn and grow in to: matches QWERTY and avoids sticky modes.
- allows responsive 130+ WPM by not overloading alpha keys.
- has good data entry characteristics via a home row number layer.
- prioritizes fast and accessible modifier & shortcut combos.
- allows right-handed shortcuts without leaving the mouse.
The config itself is commented with paragraphs of explainers (even for as simple as it is) and the below diagram is a good overview. For easier digestion, you may visit the Oryx Configurator tour. That layout is extremely similar, though not always updated perfectly in tandem.

- Pink: output when held
