* 🧩 **Add your own panels to the side column**
Wikis can now give the side column panels of their own, such as a recent changes feed, filled by a gadget or site script. Pages with only Last modified no longer show the side column by default. See [Side column](https://mwcitizen.skin/features/side-column).

* 🔎 **Go straight to the page you typed**
Pressing Enter in the command palette now opens the page you typed, rather than a search for it. Recent also lists each page once however you opened it, holds up to eight entries, and leaves out the page you are on, and `?` opens help as a list of modes you can search.

* 🎨 **Easier-to-read code**
Syntax colors in code blocks have been rebalanced so every one stays readable against the block in both light and dark mode, and the CodeMirror and CodeEditor editors keep the skin's colors, including on MediaWiki 1.46.

* 📑 **A redesigned collapse toggle in the table of contents**
The toggle now sits on the outline's rail, so long headings keep their full width and the toggle stays level with their first line.

## Highlights

* 📱 **More room to read on mobile**
On narrow screens the sticky title bar is gone. The contents button now names the section you are reading, and the page bar is down to Edit and one overflow menu that holds every other tab.

* ⚡ **Faster page loads**
Citizen's webfont is now a fraction of its old size: the Latin file drops from 120 KB to 34 KB, and every other language range by a similar share. Devices that already have Roboto installed — every Android phone among them — use their own copy and download nothing at all.

* 🪣 **Browse Bucket data from the command palette**
Wikis running Bucket gain a `/bucket:` mode for browsing the wiki's buckets, their fields and their values — and for copying the query you built as a snippet ready to drop into a Lua module.

* 🎨 **A more compact color picker**
The legacy color picker in preferences now shows Auto, Light and Dark as a segmented track of icons instead of three swatch cards, so it takes up far less of the panel.
