🤖 feat: accessible names and action hints for background process rows #5646

Open

Description

@ThomasK33

Follow-up from the review of #5633 (#5197).

Problem

#5633 adds keyboard access to the background processes strip, which is shared by desktop and the VS Code webview. Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+J focuses a row, the arrow keys move between rows, Enter opens the output and Backspace terminates. Each row is a focusable div (roving tabindex) with no interactive role and no accessible name or description. A screen reader therefore announces focus on an unnamed generic container and gives no hint of the Enter and Backspace actions.

Proposed fix

Give each row a named role that does not invalidate its nested View output and Terminate buttons. For example, role="group" with aria-label set to the process name, plus aria-keyshortcuts or an aria-describedby hint for Enter and Backspace that is hidden on mobile. Add an App.test assertion on the accessible name.

Owner: issue coordinator lane (workspace-74). Trigger: after #5633 merges.

    Scope addition from the final readiness check of #5633: the row's Terminate button has only an X icon and no aria-label (main has the same markup, so it is not a regression). Give it an accessible name in this fix too. The checker judged that the missing row role and name do not stop screen-reader users from operating the feature: the row's text content names the process, and Enter/Backspace plus the labeled View output button still work.
