The composer, the skills hat and the command palette each fetched skills with their own refresh rules, and the composer never retried, so after an SSH hiccup the $ menu stayed stale until a workspace switch. AgentSkillsStore keys one list per discovery input and refreshes every subscribed key on window focus, skill tool calls (now also agent_skill_write and agent_skill_delete) and plugin changes. Starting a $ or / token refetches a list that missed a source. A failed refresh keeps the last good list.

The composer, the skills hat and the command palette each fetched skills on their own, with different refresh rules, and the composer never retried. So after an SSH hiccup the hat could recover on window focus while the
$menu stayed stale until you switched workspaces.They now share one skills store. It refreshes on window focus, after skill tool calls (now including
agent_skill_writeandagent_skill_delete, which change the list but didn't refresh anything before) and on plugin changes. A list that missed a source is fetched again when you start typing a$or/token, and a failed refresh keeps the last list instead of emptying it.Generated with
