Summary

  • Fix password-protected PDFs failing with an empty Tabula error instead of showing the unlock prompt (pipe Java stderr/stdout, improve password-error detection)
  • Refine the password-protected unlock UI and keep it mounted while decrypting
  • Make changelog/GitHub release notes more professional: summary-first entries, no “Thanks!” attributions, simpler release body

Test plan

  • Drop a password-protected M-PESA statement PDF and confirm the unlock prompt appears (not a red empty Tabula error)
  • Enter the correct password and confirm extraction succeeds
  • Enter an incorrect password and confirm a clear “Incorrect password” message
  • Skip file / Start over still work from the unlock screen
  • Confirm pending changesets are present for the next version bump

Capture Tabula stderr so encrypted statements open the password prompt
instead of an empty error, refine the unlock UI, and drop Thanks!
attributions from changelog/release note generation.
