Writing production code at Thomson Reuters on financial data systems taught me to see software as infrastructure, not decoration. After law school, I spent five years as an attorney with the SBA, advising on federal lending programs, disaster relief, and regulatory compliance.

That blend of technical and legal work led me into applied AI, building systems for environments where continuity, trust, and real-world constraints matter.

The thread has stayed consistent: complex rules, real-world risk, and software that has to hold up in the real world.
