psh_DownloadExec payload fails on gohttp on MK2

I am using a MK2 version 1.7.332 and the template at

stopped working, after banging my head against the wall a few times i realized that this line breaks executions

REQUIRETOOL gohttp

The reason being that the gohttp package is not installed in /tools anymore and is no longer there.

I am not sure if this is relevant for MK1 , but i think someone should take a look and maybe update some old scripts or something.

The gohttp tool was removed from the default /tools directory in newer firmware versions, which breaks any payload using REQUIRETOOL gohttp.

Fix 1: Install gohttp manually:

# Put Bunny in arming mode (switch closest to USB)

mkdir -p /path/to/bunny/tools/gohttp

# Download gohttp for ARM
# From: https://github.com/nicholasgasior/gohttp/releases

Fix 2: Replace gohttp with Python's built-in HTTP server:
Since the Bash Bunny has Python installed, you can replace the gohttp dependency entirely:

Fix 3: Use netcat as a quick file server:

For the psh_DownloadExec payload specifically, the simplest fix is to edit the payload.txt and:

1. Remove the REQUIRETOOL gohttp line
2. Replace the gohttp start command with python3 -m http.server 80 &
3. Update the PowerShell download URL to use the Bunny's RNDIS IP (typically 172.16.64.1)

This is a widespread issue — many legacy payloads reference tools that are no longer bundled. Consider it a good practice to always check /tools/ contents after a firmware update.
