It'd be great if there was an official Dockerfile for this.

This would allow you to run workload tests on headless servers without the need to install a GUI and you could simply remote in via an HTML5 VNC session.

I tried working with the POC

The base image used is also outdated and seems to have switched from a rpm-based distro to a debian8 one.

There's currently the following container images floating on docker hub

i think it would be good if there was some idea of a spec instead of a poc.
what should it do to get included, how should results be accessed, ...
