libardo667/README.md

hi, i'm levi 👋

i'm a renaissance enby (they/them) who builds strange, ambitious systems with ai.

most of my software work happens conversationally with coding agents: i set the questions, architecture, direction, and standards of evidence; they help turn that conversation into working systems.

i run hekswerk.com, the umbrella for my independent technical practice and experiments. i don't have a primary stack. i just work. i follow the problem and use whatever the work asks for: code, reverse engineering, simulation, interfaces, data, writing, language models, or a small congregation of coding agents.

my projects tend to circle the same questions from different directions: how intelligence acts inside complex worlds; how identity and continuity survive changing bodies and contexts; how systems can reveal their real affordances instead of being approximated from the outside; and how technology can support memory, coordination, creativity, and collective sensemaking without flattening the people inside it.

lately, that has meant building long-running ai agents inside simulated worlds, federated narrative systems, tools for epistemic and social coordination, and other research-adjacent software that is difficult to fit into one category.

when i'm not building, i'm probably crocheting or knitting something structurally unreasonable, learning dutch, or thinking about stigmergy, polycentric systems, and the social lives of artificial minds.

currently in portland, oregon. netherlands-bound. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
