GetMCPToolCountsByDimension after applyMCPFilters and before grouping, so
bounded DimensionScope values exclude out-of-scope IDs even without an explicit
ownership-ID filter.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick winPreserve ranking attribution for own-ID usage reads.
When an own-ID filter is set,
usageReadForremoves it fromSearchFilters, androllupUsageQuerykeeps onlydim_id IN ownIDs. A row carrying both the requested ID and a co-owner therefore contributes only to the requested ID.GetDimensionRankingskeeps the row-level membership filter and attributes the row to both IDs. This violates theLogStore.GetDimensionUsagecontract and can underreport co-owner usage.Keep the dimension filter in
read.filtersand use the existingapplyFilterspath.Suggested fix

The base branch was changed.
Add three LogStore reads for callers that price many entities at once: - GetDimensionUsage returns requests, tokens and cost per entity, with the previous-window trend computed in the same pass instead of a second read. It skips the ordering, row limit, request totals and Other bucket that GetDimensionRankings builds for the dashboard. - GetDimensionModelUsage returns usage per (entity, model, provider) in one read, replacing a GetModelRankings call per entity. - GetMCPToolCountsByDimension returns distinct tool counts per entity in one read, replacing a GetMCPTopTools call per entity. On Postgres, team, business unit and customer reads fan out through one jsonb_array_elements_text call over the array-or-scalar choice, reading ids only. The shared fan-out also parses names and goes through a correlated UNION ALL, which keeps the fan-out out of parallel workers. A filter on the dimension's own ids is matched against the fanned-out id, so a row's JSON is no longer parsed once per filtered id. On 1M seeded rows, one 30-day read over 13 business units dropped from 3.7s to 0.34s on Postgres and from 284ms to 81ms on ClickHouse. Parity tests compare each read against the existing ranking, model and tool reads on SQLite, Postgres and ClickHouse, including DAC ceilings and malformed array values. The benchmark runs only when BIFROST_USAGE_BENCH_ROWS is set.
GetMCPToolCountsByDimension groups by the owner column, so called without an id filter it named every owner, including those the caller's dimension ceiling hides. Apply the ceiling the way the LLM usage reads do, and test the unfiltered read with and without one.

Summary
The enterprise org chart prices each level with
GetDimensionRankings, then callsGetModelRankingsandGetMCPTopToolsonce per node on the page. On a large log table that adds up to 15 to 20 scans per request. Several of them unnest 60 days of JSON arrays in a single process, and users behind a 30s gateway hit 504s.This PR adds three reads that get the same numbers with one grouped query each.

EXPLAIN ANALYZEon the ranking showed two costs.business_unit_ids::jsonb @> '["bu-N"]'per id, so every row's text is cast to jsonb 13 times for 13 units.Gather, in one process. It parses the names column and branches through a correlatedUNION ALL, which the planner won't put in parallel workers. For team, business unit and customer, the usage reads on Postgres go through a separate ids-only fan-out:
It makes the same array-or-scalar choice as
teamOrBUFanoutFrom, which stays unchanged because the filter matviews are built from its text. A filter on the dimension's own ids now matchesdim_idafter the fan-out instead of each row's columns. Each filtered entity gets the same rows, but the result holds only the filtered entities. The comment onusageReadFordocuments this.Numbers
Seeded data, 30-day window, 13 business units, a quarter of rows on two units. Median of 5 runs after warmup.
GetDimensionRankingsGetDimensionUsageTests
dimensionusage_test.gocompares each new read with the read it replaces, for every entity, on SQLite, Postgres and ClickHouse. It covers DAC ceilings, an id filter on the dimension itself, the previous window, an entity active only in the previous window, a non-terminal row, and malformed, empty and object values in the array columns.orgchartusagebench_test.gois the benchmark above. It skips unlessBIFROST_USAGE_BENCH_ROWSis set.framework/logstoresuite passes on all three backends exceptTestHighFixesPGRankingNamesCoverWholeStartHour, which fails the same way ondevwithout this change. The enterprise PR that switches the org chart to these reads depends on this one.
