The old code was only formatted a bit. It is unchanged both in the concept and implementation.
The new code is pretty simple: the loop for the generation of the faces is extended one profile beyond the last one; then, by computing the modulus with the maximum number of vertexes (M), the indexes pointing beyond M are taken back to the ones of the first profile.
