@kaylachumley I started this pr over because the other had rebase issues. I think all of my previous figma difficulties were resolved / I could work around, with the exception of what to do re this one (lmk if I'm just missing it still): Launch button customization: How can we adjust the shape or icon for the launch icon? |
|
the launch buttons should look like this! its in the patterns and extensions figma file but im thinking you are not seeing it because we havent published the extensions file in a bit and we cant yet while were doing project felt updates. I dont see an issue with a custom shape but i think for the custom icon, it could be good to outline that we only encourage the use of the robot icon from the rh brand library or a product logo(no other chat style icons) Just so we adhere to the Ai enablement guidelines https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1VgRQCpJUTZzB6Tyb-xgKSnoCAxmUhZABMrCMfbdLN28/edit?slide=id.g3be60c3fbe5_1_24#slide=id.g3be60c3fbe5_1_24

here is the link to a figma prototype for the intended floating launch button pattern https://www.figma.com/proto/hr9jyB4ys7xMU9YJX9f7bM/Lightspeed-patterns?org_id=1210702722894069364&node-id=2034-27988&page-id=808%3A16003&starting-point-node-id=2034%3A23594&t=0shFx4UtJ1XjNcZ5-1 |

hey! for this one, can we please swap the icon for this menu action item? brand made a set of icons to pair with certain terms so the "troubleshoot with ai" used a lil edit and sparkle icon! https://www.figma.com/design/CDhQHbVI1F9h8fSslswfh1/Red-Hat-icon-library?node-id=5230-97&t=IagRf0qpkZaAlOfP-1

howdy! we also added in all of the bot avatar color options that can either be chosen at random by the system or is chosen by that product area on the backend. The user however, cannot choose to select a new bot color in their settings. the black and plain background color that you have for all of these examples is great by default - just wasnt sure if you wanted to add in a section on avatar selection https://www.figma.com/design/MSr6kVEOuAxmPOkjg7x8PO/PatternFly-6--Patterns---Extensions?m=auto&node-id=5190-8049&t=G6tnRYXjme51DH22-1
