I got a
make: *** No rule to make target 'install-macos'. Stop.
error when trying to run the make command. The scripts one worked though

It Works For Me™. I don't know what to say except that maybe there was a better make if the script had Xcode install the tools?

I think I missed this in the Ruby PR but do we want internal notes in our public facing samples? I don't think they are doing any real harm but are they something that we want?

These are instructions to Codex (or other coding agents) to make it produce outputs that meet the needs of the project in terms of being for evaluators, etc. The AGENTS.md is checked in because it's actually tuned, and will help do the right thing if we ask for more samples.
I think the (internal) is Codex telling itself to keep that part to itself. I think I told it to consider the audience and tone, and it put it in README, and I said no, that's internal, remember it in AGENTS. A lot of the wording here is the LLM talking to future incarnations of itself.
So I think it's no harm.
