I'm an AI undergrad from Sri Lanka and I'm about to start my final year. Most of what's here started as coursework, but I've been going back and cleaning things up since.
The project I learned the most from was Altrium, a recruitment web app I built with a friend. Getting the chatbot to talk to Gemini took way longer than I expected, and hosting it on Vercel broke more than once before it worked. So right now I'm learning Docker and PyTorch, and trying to get better at the deployment side of things.
Altrium Recruitment Tracker – recruitment app with CV scoring, interview scheduling and a Gemini chatbot. React + Supabase, hosted on Vercel. You can try it here.
Hotel Booking ML Analysis – predicting booking cancellations, forecasting revenue and grouping customers, using about 119k hotel bookings. Random Forest did best at ~90% accuracy.
Admissions Chatbot – my first chatbot, for answering uni admissions questions. Rule-based, with some basic NLP using NLTK.
Smart Fitness Database – a MySQL database for a gym, normalised to 3NF, with separate access for trainers and members.
C++ Phone Book – first-year project where I learned OOP properly.
And going way back – Cinephile Critics, a movie review site I made on Wix in my foundation year.
Python, JavaScript, SQL and a bit of C++. scikit-learn and pandas for ML, React and Supabase for web stuff.
