A command-line tool that extracts 3D models, textures, and bones/armatures from the AFS archives of Moero! Justice Gakuen / Project Justice (Dreamcast). Only the Japanese release has been verified.

pj_extract.exe <mode> [options]
pj_extract.exe <mode> --help # per-mode optionsIn model mode, after extracting the mesh and textures, pj_extract.exe can
build a ready-to-open Blender file (model.blend) with the character assembled,
skinned to its armature, and textured. To enable this, install Blender (4.5
recommended) separately, pass its path with -b, and keep
python/gen_model_blend.py next to the executable; pj_extract.exe will spawn
Blender as a subprocess.
Building model.blend requires the
Blender NaomiLib Addon to be
installed in Blender (it is also required to open the extracted mesh data). If
the addon is not present, the raw mesh / texture / bones are still extracted and
only the .blend step is skipped.
You can also build a .blend from any extracted model folder on demand by
running the helper script directly:
blender --background --python python/gen_model_blend.py -- <model_folder> [out.blend]This works for the model (character) and wgame (stage) outputs, and for the
edit-model part folders produced by the mgedmdl / ugmedmdl modes — any folder
that contains *.bin meshes and a Textures/ subfolder. A folder with a
bones.json is rigged and skinned; a folder without one is assembled statically.
