Recover file IDs from nested step tokens
When a queued reusable-workflow script job is restored after a server restart, its inputs mapping has no top-level file because script inputs are serialized with with_loc = false; the ID exists only on the nested value token (and usually displayNameToken). This helper therefore defaults the restored TaskStep.file_id from 2 to 1, and broker redelivery reserializes its script input against the caller rather than the callee entry in fileTable. Inspect displayNameToken and/or nested mapping tokens before falling back to 1 so persistence preserves the newly added provenance.

Avoid duplicating the repository in remote file-table entries
For a remote reusable reference such as octo/demo/.github/workflows/build.yml@v1, normalize_reusable_path stores workflow_file as octo/demo/.github/workflows/build.yml, while workflow_repository is separately stored as octo/demo. This concatenation therefore emits octo/demo/octo/demo/.github/workflows/build.yml@<sha> rather than the official owner/repo/path@sha shape documented immediately above, so every remote reusable job receives an incorrect callee name in fileTable. Strip the repository prefix from file or avoid prepending it when the normalized file already contains it.

Account for replay rewriting in the schema-gate analysis
This conclusion does not hold for the runner-watch conform path described here: replay_flows_to_preloop_inner first passes the golden path through normalize_request_path, which rewrites /190/acquirejob to /broker/190/acquirejob, and then writes that rewritten path into both the filtered baseline and replay capture before compare::analyze runs. Consequently the previous /broker/{n}/acquirejob policy already matched the real conformance gate; the added unit test bypasses this replay normalization by analyzing two synthetic raw directories directly. Correct this analysis because the ADR's resulting claim that an acquire-job token type change has no default conformance cost is false.

Recover nested token coordinates.
Script-step inputs omit the top-level file field when with_loc is false, but their nested Value token still carries file_id. A reusable callee script step with no environment or continueOnError therefore defaults to file_id: 1 after deserialization and reserializes against the caller file.
Inspect displayNameToken and nested map or seq tokens before applying the default. Add a file-id-2 round-trip test for a script-only step with no environment and no continueOnError.

Mark the fileTable diagnosis as pre-fix behavior.
This section uses present tense to state that runs.rs:2116 overwrites file_table and discards callee provenance. Section 6.4 states that this defect is fixed in this PR.
Label §1.5 as pre-fix behavior or update it to describe the final implementation. Otherwise, readers cannot distinguish a historical finding from a remaining production defect.

Correct the anchor compatibility rationale.
GitHub Actions supports YAML anchors and aliases as of the ADR date. marked-yaml documents that aliases and anchors may not be used. A valid GitHub Actions workflow can therefore be rejected by marked-yaml, which conflicts with the ADR’s drop-in workflow goal.
Remove the claim that GitHub Actions rejects anchors. Keep rejecting marked-yaml on this compatibility basis; the serde-saphyr selection remains supported.

Do not serialize arena-local NodeId values without their arena
NodeId indexes the per-workflow SpanArena.spans, but JobPlan and StepPlan are serde-enabled. Plans are serialized in golden fixtures, and RunRecord::caller_plans is persisted and restored without a SpanArena. A restored origin therefore cannot resolve to source data and may cause source-span lookup to fail.
Keep origin out of serialized plan representations, or persist the matching arena with an explicit workflow identity and remap IDs during reusable-workflow expansion.

Define the zero-based to wire FileId conversion.
Option C uses zero-based FileId(0) and SpanArena.files[0], while the runner contract is one-based. Phase 3 does not define how Span.file becomes a wire file value. The §6.4 fix covers the existing synthetic file: 0, not this future span serialization path.
If internal IDs remain zero-based, document serialization as Span.file.0 + 1 and add caller/callee index tests.

Keys are built as"{method} {normalize_path(path)}"(compare.rs:193-199), and the goldens record/<pool>/acquirejob, which normalizes toPOST /{n}/acquirejob— no/broker/segment.The only schema gate in the default policy has therefore been inert on every committed golden; it matched only synthetic test captures. Now gated on
acquirejob. This one is worth a second look on merge: re-enabling it may surface pre-existing acquirejob drift that was always there but never reported.
Tests
Three regression tests, each asserting observable behavior:

The pre-push CI gate reported

docs/internal/yaml-source-spans.mdis the design doc for the underlying span work (phases 0–3) these bugs came out of. Its recommendation is to ship the parser swap first and defer real wire coordinates until there is a consumer; nothing in this PR commits to that plan.Summary by cubic
Fixes three wire defects found while tracing where the parser loses YAML source spans: step display names are now emitted correctly, reusable-workflow callee jobs keep their source file in
fileTable, and the conformance response-schema gate now covers acquirejob paths. The broader gate may surface pre-existing acquirejob drift.Bug Fixes
displayNameTokennow usestype: 0with a validfileindex, so the runner no longer builds aSequenceTokenand drops the step name.fileTablenow lists the reusable workflow for inlined jobs, and their tokens usefile: 2; caller-defined jobs stay onfile: 1.fileTableentries no longer duplicate theowner/repoprefix.file: 2after a job-message round-trip.acquirejob, covering both raw and replayed acquirejob paths.Docs
