Hi, I'm Sophie πŸ‘‹

I'm obsessed with structure, cognition, and the human brain β€” three scales of the same question: how does intelligence organize itself?

That throughline has shaped everything. Years architecting systems for global enterprises β€” BMW among them β€” and for early-stage startups across the spectrum. Learning-science research at Stanford on how memory, curiosity, and play actually work. And now: building companies that sit at the intersection.

My corner of the internet lives at sophieren.com.

What I'm building

🌐 LOOMUS β€” Books, ideas, and gatherings for the AI era. A 6-language editorial site, public-interest, free to read. Live.

🎞 ChatSlide.AI β€” Turn any knowledge into slides, video, avatars, and podcasts. Live Β· 200,000+ users across 170 countries β€” the WHO and 750+ universities among them.

πŸ“¦ AeoBox.AI β€” Answer Engine Optimization. Make your company's expertise visible to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini. In development.

πŸƒ Silicon Valley Robot Marathon β€” Building toward the first edition in January 2027.

Gatherings I host

Every year I organize GenAI SF, GenAI Paris, and Stanford Founders Demo Day β€” convening founders, researchers, and investors across Silicon Valley, Paris, and Hong Kong.

How I work

I treat architecture and taste as the same skill. The same instinct that maps a million-line enterprise codebase to clean bounded contexts also maps the LOOMUS Library to seven categories that mean something. Same muscle.

Most of what I ship today, I ship in collaboration with AI. Pair-programming with Claude is my default workflow now β€” and it suits architects unusually well: describe the system, let the AI fill in the lines, review, iterate, refine taste.

I think this is the most interesting working mode of the next decade, and I'm trying to be early to it in a public way.
