Problem with siteIdentifier

I have tried to overwrite the SiteIdentifier in my extension in Configuration/Services.yaml. However, this configuration is not accepted and I get the following error message when calling it in the CLI:
‘There is not site identifier provided. Please provide one via Service.yaml or Service.php. Read README.md for more help’

My Service.yaml file looks like this:

services:
  TYPO3\CMS\Extbase\Configuration\ConfigurationManagerInterface:
    alias: 'Undkonsorten\ExtbaseCliAwareConfigurationManager\Configuration\CliAwareConfigurationManager'
    public: true

  Undkonsorten\ExtbaseCliAwareConfigurationManager\Configuration\CommandLineInterfaceConfigurationManager:
    arguments:
      $siteIdentifier: 'mysite'

Do you have any idea what the problem could be?

Try delete folder var/cache

Same issue here. Deleting var/cache did not help. Any other hints whats wrong?

I had the same issue but fixed it by adding a composer dependency.

In your composer.json of the extension with the Services.yaml add this to the required-block:
"undkonsorten/extbase-cli-aware-configuration-manager": "0.1.1",

Then execute an composer update and/or clear the cache

Do I understand correctly, @weisgerberm, that moving the declaration of the composer dependency from your project‘s composer.json to the one of your project‘s site package (or wherever you Services.yaml is located) fixed the issue?
If that‘s the case I‘d add that to the Readme.

Thank you, @weisgerberm , I moved the dependency to the composer.json of the extension where the Services.yaml is located. After that, it worked. @cumuru -> A note in the Readme would be great. Thank you.
