Summary

• Add docs/guide/memory-for-trae.html covering the TRAE CLI session store (~/.trae/cli/sessions, TRAE_HOME, TRAECLI_HOME, DEJA_TRAE_ROOT), resuming with traex resume <id>, wiring MCP and hooks with deja install trae and deja install trae-auto, and trusting hooks at start-up in traex.
• Add the guide to scripts/gennav/main.go, docs/sitemap.xml, docs/sitemap.txt, docs/feed.xml, and docs/llms.txt.

Closes #5089

Test plan

• Opened docs/guide/memory-for-trae.html in the browser to verify layout, navigation sidebar, and links.
• Ran go run ./scripts/gennav, go run ./scripts/genmatrix, go run ./scripts/genregistry, and go run ./scripts/genfeed.
• Ran go test ./cmd/deja on the guide, sitemap, and TRAE install tests.

main moved to 3229098d6882afe8e7fdd53326c4a565151386b4 and the suite fails when this branch is merged into it — the run.

Both sides are green on their own, which is the shape #3433 is about: rebase on main and the failure will be visible on this pull request's own checks.

Reviewed at 627afe6 and checked every claim against install_trae.go, rules.go and docs/registry/trae.md, plus deja install trae / trae-auto / uninstall on a temp HOME. Paths, the hook events and matchers, the TRAECLI_HOME note and the IDE section all match.

Blocker, fixed on your branch: docs/sitemap.xml had 15 guide lastmods moved to 2026-10-23 that the commit history doesn't back, and the feed wasn't regenerated, so the suite went red once merged with main (the bot run above). I merged main and reran gennav, genmatrix, genregistry and genfeed.

Two text fixes I pushed too. traecli 0.208 edits through Edit and Write instead of apply_patch, not as well as it (see the comment on traeHookWiring). And the install also writes the shared deja-search skill next to deja-history, so the page names both.

Thanks for writing this. The page carries over the measured parts from the registry (the 0.208.1-alpha.5 notes, the trust step, the exec approval failure) instead of padding it, and the trust warning is the thing a TRAE user hits first. Closes #5089.
