App freezes when logging in to Zooniverse account

What the app is supposed to do:

Log in to Zooniverse account

What the app does instead:

Enters a perpetual load state after login details are entered. If you close the app and re-open, you are logged in and it works fine.

Exact steps to Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to mobile app
2. Click on Log In, enter details
3. See error
4. Close app and re-open
5. See logged-in home page
